Join us March 29th from 3 to 5 p.m. to\u00a0raise\u00a0funds and awareness for Trisomy.\u00a0 The cost is $10 and proceeds will benefit the\u00a0Jacqueline\u00a0Grace Project.\u00a0 Trisomy is\u00a0a genetic disorder in which a person has three copies of a chromosome instead of two.\u00a0 This extra chromosome results in congenital malformations, serious developmental and motor delays, and a high incidence of mortality.\u00a0 In addition to this charity event, for the month of March we will be collecting small personal care items to be placed in support bags which are given to families in the hospital dealing with Trisomy\u00a0diagnosis.\u00a0 Some items that are\u00a0needed include crossword and word search books, light-up balls (little ones with the flashing LED light inside), and little notebooks for parents to\u00a0journal and communicate with doctors.\u00a0 Any questions or concerns, please contact Nicole Smith<\/p>\n\n\n
