The mystics of every religion teach meditation and prayer practices that create quiet space for connection to the Sacred. These practices may bring a sense of peace and joy that we can spread to others.  Gather to locate your own place of peace and connection and let in the light of Spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initial Retreat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

S<\/strong>aturday <\/strong>m<\/strong>orning, April 10<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong> <\/strong>2021,<\/strong> 9:00-11:00<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Share a breakfast snack, connect with one another, and get an orientation to the weekly contemplative prayer practices. We will begin with the first practice Lectio Divina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weekly Gatherings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

S<\/strong>aturday<\/strong> <\/strong>mornings<\/strong>, <\/strong>April 17<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong>,<\/strong> <\/strong>24<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong>, May 1<\/strong>st<\/sup><\/strong> 2021,<\/strong> <\/strong>9:00-10:00<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introduction to 3 additional contemplative practices \u2013 an opportunity to practice these as an individual and in a group setting. Practices that use mind, body and heart to open ourselves to a deeper knowledge of God. A simple breakfast treat will be provided.\u2022 Silence\u2022 Chant\u2022 Gentle Movement<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Facilitated by Paula Estornell, PhD, teacher and practitioner of collaboration and community building, certified prayer group leader, Shalem Institute, Washington DC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
