We also have a total for the Souper Bowl of Caring food drive. Across the area we received 51,825 units! A “unit” is a can, a box, a bottle, or a dollar. What a great effort on behalf of so many for the sake of our neighbors with food insecurity! The numbers from St. Matthew were 7,551 food items, and $537 dollars, for a total of 8088 units. In addition, Dave Krauter arranged for a donation of 380 pounds of pasta from Springfield Pasta Company on Saxer Avenue. Thank you all for your part in this important food ministry!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
