March 28 Update

Good afternoon, Church,

Blessed Holy Week.

For those who were not able to receive a palm and a palm cross yesterday, we will have them available again tomorrow (3/29) from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  They will be on a table under the portico at the main entrance off the parking lot.

Unfortunately the rain precluded our outdoor worship today.  For those not able to attend Zoom worship here is a recording of the service:

Tomorrow we will have in the courtyard a version of the Stations of the Cross.  This is a long-standing tradition where one can walk a circuit of the steps Jesus took to the Cross, stopping to reflect on scripture and an image of Jesus in each step, or station.  One can then pray for one’s self, one’s loved ones, and the world, before moving on to the next station.  This is often an individual prayer discipline, but some people do this as a team, sharing and reflecting together on what is striking them in each station.  The stations will be up through Easter.  Stop by whenever you have the time, and walk and pray with Jesus in this Holy Week.

May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
Pastor Karl Richard
