The Spirit descends, empowering us to proclaim the mighty acts of God!

Tomorrow is Memorial Day.
The Springfield American Legion Post 227 and Springfield Township Memorial Day parade will start at 9:30 AM on Saxer Avenue at the World War II Memorial in front of St. Francis Church marching along Saxer Avenue and Powell Road ending at the Springfield Township building, 50 Powell Road. The Memorial ceremony will take place at 10:30 AM. This year Springfield will be honoring and remembering two brothers from Springfield who were Killed in Action during World War II, 1st Lieutenant William Murray and Staff Sergeant Donald Murray.
I will be helping with the services at the Rutledge Borough Hall tomorrow at 11:00 AM.
We are grateful for all who have served our nation, and particularly for those who gave the “last full measure of devotion.”
May you feel the Spirit moving in you this day!
Pastor Karl Richard
