Scout Sunday Worship

What a full day we have had today!
Worship, Sunday School, Scout Sunday, a fellowship hour sponsored by the Scouts, a Super Bowl Pre-party sponsored by the Fellowship Team, and First Sunday Food Collection!

Thank you to those who are collecting boxes for this coming Saturday’s Souper Bowl if Caring food drive. You may bring them either on Friday during set-up or on Saturday morning. You may also call if you would like to arrange for a different time to bring them in. Janice is away, but we do have a message system on the phone.
We will need people to help with setting up on Friday, and then sorting, counting, and packing on Saturday. Many hands make light work, they say. And more than that, it is an exciting day to be a part of, so why not plan on joining in? The walkers who will go collect the food gather at St. Matthew at 9:30 for a commissioning prayer, and the food starts arriving around 10:00. It continues to come until midafternoon, so if you are not available first thing, you are welcome to join in as the second runs arrive.
