August 11th Worship

Good morning, Church,

Yesterday was quite a day.  In the morning we worshipped, and heard how God was moving among the youth and adult leaders who attended the ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans this past July.  Kristen Plachuta, Luke Plachuta, Anastacia Milana and I had attended this impactful event, and they were able to share just a sliver of what it was like to worship and serve for 5 days along with 16,000 other Lutheran youth and adult leaders.

Following worship, Pastor Leslie and I were able to join in the retirement gala for our Bishop, Patricia Davenport, as people across our Church, and across the broader swath of denominations and faiths, gathered to give thanks for her leadership and pray for her next chapter in life and faith.

As a result I was not able to post the video yesterday, but for those who would like to share in worship through this recording, a link to the 10:15 service is available here:

We are Created to Be Brave, Authentic, Free, Disruptive Disciples of Jesus.  May you feel the movement of the Holy Spirit calling you to be all God calls you to be!
