May 4th Worship

Good evening, Church,

We had a moving service to mark the ending of the congregational ministry of Community of Love Lutheran Church in Oxford this afternoon.  For 29 years this mission congregation has been a place of worship and outreach to this Chester County community.  Ultimately the worship community needed to close, but the Boutique shop that provides clothing to people in need will continue.  Please keep the members of this former congregation in prayer as they look for new places to worship and serve.

Today we celebrated the baptism of Ryan Michael Maffei, Jr.  What a wonderful day it is when we can welcome a new saint into the fellowship of Christ!  For those unable to join us live, here is the link to the video of the 9:30 service:
