Holy Week Worship Videos

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

As we journey through this Holy Week I have been pleased to see so many people in in the Zoom worship services. I realize that not everyone has been successful, and that not everyone is comfortable with this technology. Yet it has been a wonderful way for us to worship together as we are able, allowing a “real time” experience of worshiping with each other, rather than just watching a screen of someone offering worship for us.

For those who have not been successful, comfortable, or on our email invitation list, here are links to videos of the services so that you can watch them, even if it is a bit like watching someone lead worship for you. The videos are not perfect. I did not start the recordings at the very beginning of the services (oops!). But it is a way to see and experience the services for those who were not with us “live,” or to re-watch the services from the different perspective that the videos give.

Tomorrow we will have the chance to join together for Easter. Because there is a limit of 100 devices per gathering, had we had 71 devices on Palm Sunday, we will be offering the service at two different times tomorrow. We will gather at 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. to celebrate the resurrection. If you find the 9:00 is full, please come back for the 11:00. I am asking that you attend one or the other, rather than both, to be sure we have room for as many as possible.

We will not have the chance for our Easter Breakfast between services, so instead I propose that we hold an extra half hour FOLLOWING the first service for “virtual Easter Breakfast,” and that we have a similar time BEFORE the second service to share in fellowship and catch up with each other. (Or is that ketchup with each other? I guess it depends on what you like on your eggs?)

An invitation will go out early in the morning with the service and the invitation.

I look forward to seeing you then!

In Christ,
Pastor Karl Richard
