I trust you are enjoying your Memorial Day weekend. For those unable to join worship this morning, here is a link to the recording of the 9:30 service:

Thursday May 29 is the Delaware Conference Ascension Day service at Christ Lutheran in Upper Darby. Fellowship at 6:00, with worship at 7:00 p.m.
Friday May 30 at 9:00 a.m. we will be putting up the Tent of Meeting for the summer. We can use all the help we can get to erect this outdoor space for worship and fellowship. While we will not worship outdoors for a couple of weeks, we will use it for the closing of Sunday school picnic on June 1st.
Friday May 30 and Saturday May 31 is our annual Synod Assembly, at which we learn about the ministry we have done over the past year, and plan for our work together as the Lutheran Church is Southeastern Pennsylvania for the next year.
Thanks to your support, we will be sending $710 to the Assembly offering for Lutheran Disaster Response, in addition to the 48 quilts for Lutheran World Relief.
Sunday June 8 is Pentecost Sunday. We decorate the sanctuary with red geraniums, which we then plant around the church to provide a pop of color for the summer. Plants may be purchased in honor or in memory for $7 each. We will also need help planting them after Pentecost Sunday. Please let Lynda Knaggs know if you can help.
Be safe as you enjoy this long weekend, remembering those who gave their lives for our nation.
Pastor Karl Richard
