Get Fit and Give Back
Join us March 29th from 3 to 5 p.m. to raise funds and awareness for Trisomy. The cost is $10 and proceeds will benefit the Jacqueline Grace Project. Trisomy is a genetic disorder in which a person has three copies of a chromosome instead of two. This extra chromosome results in congenital malformations, serious developmental and motor delays, and a high incidence of mortality. In addition to this charity event, for the month of March we will be collecting small personal care items to be placed in support bags which are given to families in the hospital dealing with Trisomy diagnosis. Some items that are needed include crossword and word search books, light-up balls (little ones with the flashing LED light inside), and little notebooks for parents to journal and communicate with doctors. Any questions or concerns, please contact Nicole Smith
