Pray for our Bishops – 9/28 Worship

Good afternoon, Church,

We give thanks to God for the ministry of our Presiding Bishop, Elizabeth Eaton, as she concludes her term of service September 30th, and we ask God’s blessing on our incoming Presiding Bishop, Yehiel Curry, as he begins his term on October 1st.  Bishop Curry will be formally installed into this office on Saturday, October 4th, in Minneapolis, MN.  Please keep both of our bishops, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America,  in prayer during this transition.
